first up, thanks for coming out and making our Living Room show such a success! it was a momentous occasion, as stylin' Jonny flipped another year on the calendar dial and we performed our last regular gig with the ever-so-talented Robbie Jones. it was an emotional night all around and your engaged ears and whiskeyed cheers were greatly appreciated!!

Robbie's off to a different hemisphere to start a new family with a beautiful woman he's crazy about. we're mighty excited to see what kind of off-kilter ADD babies they raise, but sad to see such a valued musician and cherished friend go so damn far away. Jones will surely be missed.

now, if you're wondering why you can't see the JSB live right now, or if you were one of those many people that berated us at the last show for not having CDs for sale well here's why: we're in the middle of recording our debut album on Smith Street Records!

it's gonna be a JSB tour-de-force, featuring songs you've grown to love from the live show, a broadened instrumentation to take full advantage of our pickers and pounders (by my count we've currently got 24 different instruments on the album), great guest appearances, and that same tight vocal harmony that keeps you tappin' them toes.
